Hi my name is Kelly, I have an area in my backyard that I would like to put a shed in, but I have no clue in what to do.
How big of a space would I need?
Does it take long to put up?
Do you need a concrete slab to put a shed up?

Thanks Kelly :D

Hi Kelly, welcome and there is two ways to go about. You can DIY (fair bit of experience needed but can save $1000's) or buy from the Shed companies (very straight forward but you pay for what you get). Your first port of call is to visit numerous shed companies and decide on the shed and size that suits you and your location. Errecting a shed varies dramatically and you have two options, slab or bored piers footings. Please let the forum now of your progress.

Well i have a slab of concrete in my back yard just sitting there, it is a rather small slab (5x5 meters) but i was wondering if its very time consuming to put it up myself. What is the average length of time to put sheds up? Im kind of new at this hahaa.

Thanks! Kelly :D :D

Hi Kelly, if it was a shed kit and a couple of tradies (women included), id say your size slab 3-4 straight days. If you are taking your time, cross out a fair few weekends.
